The music to this cover was inspired by modern film music, especially horror and thriller. Initially an exercise in creating a minimal and powerful sound, also similar to that from Low's masterpiece album 'Hey What'. Lyrics to the end were performed only to get some ideas in writing original words, but they worked, so we went in that direction.
We decided to leave out the second half of the original lyrics as we believe that no one can come close to replicating Jim Morrison's performance. The original song & lyrics are believed to have gone through a few changes, from initially writing a more traditional goodbye or break up song, then performed and improvised by the band into what we all know now as the epic LSD trip 'The End'.
We hope that our music does at least some of the talking and sets an alternative mood for you to explore.
'I think it's sufficiently complex and universal in its imagery that it could be almost anything you want it to be'. - Jim Morrison.
